DigiDesign Pro Tools 7 M-Powered
Why You Should Consider
Pro Tools M-Powered |
|
Pro Tools has long been the industry leader in Digital Audio Workstations. If you want to buy into the Pro Tools game, you have 3 choices: Pro Tools HD Systems starting at about $10,000 or Pro Tools LE and M-Powered which are priced much more competitively. The software functionality in LE and M-Powered are virtually identical with one important exception: LE supports only Pro Tools audio interfaces (M-Box, 001, etc.) whereas M-Powered supports all of the M-Audio interfaces. We like M-Powered because of this extra flexibility. You have a wider choice of audio interfaces, and you don't have to worry about other pro audio software products working with your audio interface. Projects created in M-Powered are fully compatible with other Pro Tools systems. M-Powered has the highest Value Rating in our DAW Shootout. |
