The Digital Music Doctor, Clark Murray, today announced the release of a new interactive video course Cubase SX 2—Know It All !. Cubase is the Steinberg's flagship product and is one of the most widely used midi and digital audio editors in the music business. Murray, whose tutorials have been used worldwide by thousands of musicians: "This course, designed both for the beginner as well as the experienced musician, contains over two hours of interactive videos as well as sample projects to help musicians learn all aspects of audio and midi recording, editing, and mixing using Cubase".

The course contains fourteen modules and is organized into four sections: There is an overview section which covers elements that are common to both midi and audio. This section provides an introduction to Cubase projects as well recording, editing and mixing using Cubase SX. There are in-depth sections for both audio and midi which cover recording, editing and mixing using actual projects. Finally there is an Advanced Topics section which includes score creation, drum map editing, surround sound mixing, as well as the use of VST instruments and system exclusive commands.

Cubase SX 2—Know It All ! is available as a CD-rom and is presented using Macromedia Flash and requires Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.5 or later. The examples used in the tutorials require Steinberg Cubase SX 2 or later.
